I used to be an avid NS player and always felt a little guilty that you guys gave me the best gaming experiences of my entire life and I did nothing in return.
As I wait for the game to download on this freezing winter's day, I am warmed by memories of epic hive battles, ninja phase gates, heavy armour trains; but most of all great teamwork. I would grind my way through consecutive hours of terrible disappointing games with stacked teams just hoping for a single hour-long back-and-forth war where one team would rescue themselves from the brink of defeat by pulling together as a team and outsmarting the enemy.
I'll let you know my impressions of NS2 in a couple of weeks when I've had a few hours to get to grips with it.
