<div class="IPBDescription">NS won't load =(</div>I've been having this weird problem on steam. I have been unable to run NS2 for about a week and a half now. I've been scouring the internet and figured a post here would be better.
Anyway, I see NS2 on my games library on steam. It always says its updating, but its paused. I try to launch the game, it validates files and then tells me that the steam server is too busy to handle my request. I try to uninstall, it says its uninstalling but all the files are still there. Steam works fine for all my other games (I JUST reinstalled too)
I also checked my add/remove and the game file is not even listed...... Something fishy is going on here =(
Are there any other fixes out there? I'd really like to get playing.

Exit Steam
Go into the steam\steamapps\common folder and manually delete the folder called natural selection 2
Go back up to the steam folder and delete ClientRegistry.blob
Start steam, you'll need to log-in again, then go to your library and install NS2.
Game should work fine after this.
As a quick tip, if you don't want to download the natural selection 2 folder again, you may just be able to delete the clientregistry.blob file and that may fix your issue. Generally though you will need to delete the local content first.
1. Change the download region (maybe even oversea)
2. Change the steam language (do a screenshot of the menues you need to change the language, if you can only read 1 language)
Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
We do not provide support for beta software.
However, please try the following:
Exit Steam entirely.
Browse to your Steam installation (Usually C:\Program Files\Steam\)
Rename the "steamapps" folder to "old_steamapps"
Re-launch Steam and re-install the game.
Once the installation is complete, test the issue.
If the issue is not resolved, you can rename the folder back to avoid having to re-install other games.
