Things I would like to see in NS2

Firstly, I would like NS2 to have some sort of rank up system for both Marines and Aliens. For, example Marines at lvl X can unlock a cool looking Armour or change the color of there Armour/Weapons, likewise for Aliens hides and teeth/claws; but will have no stat changing effects.

Another feature that the NS2 team can put is a full minimap on the top/lower side of the screen so that players dont have to constantly pull of the map and block their views.

Thirdly, I would like to see, Aliens having a synapses/ symbiotic relationship to each other. For example, when an Aliens sees a Marine, all other aliens can see that marine to in a "parasite" form. Allow Aliens to support each other faster.

Lastly, I would like to see the team implement AI, so that when people who don't have Internet can still play a custom battle with the AI.

    I don't see UWE implementing this for a couple of reasons.
    First of all, simply enough, it's very immersion breaking.
    Second, this would require a lot of work and time that the team just doesn't have spare to be using on something as trivial as custom skins etc.
    Third, in regards to just a simple change in armor colour or something, that would make the special black armor pre-order players have redundant.
    Fourth, this isn't C.O.D.

    There is already a minimap at all times. If they were to implement a full map minimap at all times, it would have to take up way too much of the screen to be anywhere near functional.

    I may be mistaken here, but I think something like this IS already implemented, or atleast, something vey similar. Someone will have to correct me on this.

    I beleive this is already in the works. I can't remember if it's actually UWE working on it or the community, though. Either way, it's almost definately coming.

    Thanks, for the replay Bear, i am currently new to the NS2 community, so thanks for clearing some mistakes i've made.

    I think he was talking about the same minimap you can get placed on the bottom left when you spectate, which is a full view of the map while being readable.

    I have the minimap linked to my middlemouse button, pulling it up and still moving and instantly disable it when I see something is easy as hell using this config :)
