<div class="IPBDescription">An ability for Kharra</div>I was thinking the other day about spreading creep in natural selection and came up with a new ability to help do it passively. You give them an upgrade from a Crag or something else that the commander can research that infests every Kharra hatched for the rest of the game. When they die they burst and creep is spread in the area and a small cyst is dropped that has a ranged much smaller than normal cysts about a quarter or something like that. So if Kharra are dying within range of the other cysts they can help the growth even if they don't mean to. This will take some pressure off the Kharra commander early in the game if they are getting pushed back and he doesn't have enough energy to keep pulsing. If aliens die out of range of the cyst network the baby cyst will just die after a little bit and the creep will be gone. I thought it was kind of a good way to make the environment a little more alive also if you have these battle marks slowly going away throughout the map.

    Welcome to NS2 forums!

I remember talks of infestation explosion for the Gorge a while ago... I wonder if it's still a possibility :P?

I was kind of thinking that the radius of the creep could be related to the size of the thing that died but thats a little advanced I guess. Kind of an after thought.

I think to have this ability for skulks and fades and oni is a bit unbalanced. But for a gore to spread infestation on death seems pretty legit.

Imagine the gorge's body disintergrating and sinking into the grates, leaving behind it's orange belly, which becomes a large cyst. That temporary spreads infestation outwards without being connected to the cyst chain. If the gorge-cyst isn't connected to the cyst chain within a certain time peroid, it dies.

There was also talk about infestation eating up dropped marine weapons and unused ammo and medpacks converting it to Tres. Makes sense. Would love to see these sorts of things implemented and balanced.

Well I like thinking any alien because a lot of the creep at first especially is on the ground if a lurk or skulk gets killed on a wall the creep would be there it would make the creep more dynamic at the beginning.
