I'm at 214 hours, mostly working in Spark. You guys contract anyone to work on maps for you? ; )
Just logged my 22nd hour. An epic 45 minute battle being Marine commander only to have my warnings spammed with everything BUT Comm chair underattack. Lost to one lone skulk.
35 :( It's because I've waited 1 year for Bulldozer which was disappointing* and so I'm currently waiting for Ivy bridge/Piledriver. NS2 has been lagging since the beginning for me and unlike other people I didn't really notice any improvements in the latest 20 or so patches. At the beginning of a game it is somewhat ok, although not really smooth. In the late game I can move jerkingly but combat is absolutely impossible...I don't blame anyone however, my Athlon 6000+ is just too old.
*from a gamer's perspective ofc, not overall, I know.
Sorry to hear that Zeno, I came to NS2 right before the latest patch. The game was unplayable almost on max res 1920x1080. I was playing on 800x750??? (w/e it is) After the lastest Patch for some reason I saw an improvement so I tried 1920x1080 on the worst graphic settings. Ran fine, Now I run 1920x1080 on medium settings. I can't wait till I can run this baby maxed out!!

Uh, hate to break it to you.
But I'm on the Bulldozer 8120, NS2 runs perfectly.

Id say 90% gameplay the rest is in the map editor.

All of it actual time getting owned and lagging around in a haze of confusion and wonder at the new world...

75% playing / 25% Editor
THOUSAND
About 750 played.. Good value for money though!
For reference , NS1 probably is the game I played the most in my life.
