Natural Selection: Short Story

<div class="IPBDescription">Based COMPLETELY on my own imagination</div> I had no knowedge of a "backstory" for this mod when I wrote it, so I just made it up as I went along.
If all goes well, this will be a short story that I will keep adding to until its completion.

    A few things stand out. Like saying the fade is called so because it can cloak, while it is called a fade for its blinking ability, which was unmentioned in the story. Fading out of view and fading in somewhere else. As for the onos, it got its name from the first contacts with it as well, "Oh no!"

    Other than that, I'm sure an atmosphere of morbidity thick enough to pour into a mug was your intention. Enjoyable, but not my prefered style.

    Thanx. But as I stated in the first post, I had NO knowledge of the REAL backstory of the mod, so it all was made up on the "fly" ... so to speak.

    This piece shows signs of great creativity, writing ability, and, above all, intellect. Admittedly, the second of the aforementioned still has room for more refinement (a little bit of proof-reading is needed, particularly for the first part; I can make a short list of the few mistakes I noticed), but I really think that you have "it," at least in terms of creative writing (this is coming from a 2nd year university of maryland journalism/japanese major, for all that's worth <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ).

    I really like your work. Are you currently/aspiring to be a professional writer?

    This is great, I've read Chapter One and I'm loving it so far. It's well written, with few to no mistakes visable. That and I like it ^_^ . Keep on writing. I'm going to go keep on reading now.

    Sorry all ... I have not had time to continue the story-line in the last months. I will get back at it soon if all goes well. I have been creating a complete "overlay" for NS as I did for CS, so that has taken a good portion of my evenings as of late.
