Lerks picking up weapons

Frankly, this need to be on top priority, cancel server optimization already, who need fps when you can drop weapons into crevice ?

I actually wanted to make this a mod too, but i was kind of lost in the code (sucks being a newb :-/).
Anyway, this already looks really really good. Can't wait to try it out!

I actually like the idea of aliens being able to destroy weapons. Numerous times I die losing a grenade launcher, and am able to run all the way back to my location after respawning and grab it.
That happens because aliens that won the fight and took that ground let you run up and grab the gun afterward (or they didn't win the fight so you deserve the gun). The game doesn't need another mechanic to 'solve' this for bad players.
The bigger issue is that attacks become all or nothing, either you wipe out the base or you achieve practically nothing cause the weps will just get picked up and 1 marine can keep any number of weps from despawning by cycling through them. It also makes it necessary for skulks to camp weps until they despawn early on if they dont want them to get picked up, which imo is not much fun. I dunno though if letting aliens destroy weps is too good an idea.
LOL. that mod would be just funny, but unfair at the same time.
Oh, those were some good times in NS1 extra levels combat servers.
And how I miss NS1 lerks dearly....
However this kind of details is what make games awesome, remember when you play a game and you think "it would be cool if I could do this?" you try and it works.
It also fits very well the lerk psychology and fleshes out the character.
In addition it should be fairly easy to implement, I even managed to make it work myself... It would require a bit of polish, like adjusting the carried weapon position to the lerk model.
