Help a first time mapper :-)
Hey guys,
Long time NS1/NS2 fan here and thought i'd try my hand and mapping as it looks like much fun.
I've watched a few videos on what to do and how to place props and build e.t.c but i have a few questions:
Is there any programming involved? As i've made a basic map to try out and it wont load when i run it. Is this because i havent made a ready room?
Also apart from making the physical map itself what else do i need to do?
What are entities and how do i use them? For example if i want to place ambient sounds in a hallway and i select the ambient sound entity how do i select what sounds i want to play ?
Any help would be appreciated :)

That is what you will need entity wise. There is no need for additional programming. For sound entities I do not know, I haven't had my try with them :p
I'd also love to know how you create curved corners e.t.c too
You should now be able to upload, and edit your files.
I made this simple level to test building the overview but I can never seem to get the map to be centered.
