skulks should move faster on creep, ala starcraft 2, zerglings gain speed bonus on creep.

skulks gain a 1.8 speed increase in speed. if my math is correct it should be 9 bringin them back to build 199 but only on creep. they can defend better and marines are more cautious on creep.

I believe the devs said that having players move faster on infestation made movement off infestation feel slow or sluggish in comparison, so they didn't go with it.

Don't marines move slower on infestation? Or just sprint is slower?

Marines do move slower on creep.

I don't like territory advantages. Either
    A) aliens are "too fast" on infestation and marines can't attack without being much stronger, either in tech or skill, which is obviously unfair, or
    B) aliens are acceptably fast on infestation == too slow when off infestation => aliens can't attack without, well, see above. Or,
    C) the advantage isn't big enough to matter, in which case what's the point?

The reality is a group of marines are more likely to recede the infestation by taking out the cysts unless the marine commander is ordering them to rush the hive. I wonder if they have considered making cysts cloakable like in starcraft 2?

this is a good point, I don't see why this shouldn't be implemented, it's a good idea, even if it's only like a .5 movement increase

Then maybe Marines should be able to build walls? So Aliens cant snipe turrets/mines?
I think the mechanics of the game atm is better then ever.

Coming from the perspective of a new player (coming in at b200), I found absolutely nothing wrong with the movement speed of Skulks.

    There. I said it.

How would the creep affect speed of skulks on walls? What about when skulks move from the creep to normal ground, would they suddenly slow down slightly? How would that affect combat?

Just thinking about this from a practical standpoint, it seems odd. If what IeptBarakat says is true, I'm going to have to agree with the devs on this one.

Yeah and I almost never agree.
