You're not the only one, no.
The game has almost become unplayable for me in it's current stage.

Or is it just me?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
That's because we've got very little to do. Marine comms are spamming med/ammo packs, dubstep-bubbling things getting chewed on, figuring out where to set up phasegates, dropping armories and Obs at forward operating bases, and generally doing a lot of stuff on a pretty regular basis. Alien comms are stringing out cysts and resources towers, hiverushing... and occasionally set up a bunch of crags somewhere near the frontline. It's pretty chill, because we've really got nothing more we can do.
Well after playing it pretty hard during the weekend, it feels very different to 199. Just feels very... clunky? Not sure how to describe it, the movement feels blocky with lack of performance. The Lerk spikes are pretty crap, can't see where they are going, I'm sure I'm aiming at a sentry gun but the decals are hitting the wall? :|
Anyway, it's not too bad, but I do feel like it's a step backwards with performance from 199. I was having a huge amount of fun with 199 and totally forgot it was beta until 200 :P
Hmm, fair enough, however I'm pretty active as Alien Comm, its more that the things I do actually seem to matter rather than just being extremely risky in every instance. Even though I place alot of crags/whips that die, as they only cost 10 res I keep getting to place them. They *stick* better. Locally we've started to rename phase gates as 'death gates'. And now I've got catalyze, which even works on Fade eggs etc. Clicky clicky click!
I've been following you guys for a while but just now created a forum account. Wanted to say that you're making an awesome game which gets a lot better every patch. (y)
While I havn't been playing THAT much, there are a few things I noticed: I'm getting lower performances with this patch, but it's not a game-breaker.
Also, I'm sure it's probably been discussed by the community, but I feel fades are really overpowered. They dig through marines like theres no tomorrow.
Strange while some people got worser performance my performance got better with this patch. The best thing is that there is less diashow when it comes to close fights. I also overclocked my phenom 2 x4 955 from 3.2 to 3.6 ghz which gives me now about 10 fps more which makes it possible for me to play a smooth game on a good 14 player server like HBZ. Actually its the first time now i can aim on alien lifeforms :)

It sounds like they tried to improve performance for one set of hardware and in doing so screwed it up for another set of hardware. I have an i5 2500k and I run it overclocked to 4.7ghz and my FPS in 199 was 100+, now it dips sub-30 during fights making it hard for me to aim.

Really hope performance (not just the performance issues relating to the sound bug) is also being addressed this patch, I really love this game but the fps drops that came with 200 make it unplayavble at times :(

I also have an i5 2500k (w/ GeForce 560ti) and my performance improved by about 20 fps between b199 and b200. <shrugs>
