Can't beta test the game

I bought this game earlier today hoping to beta test it but the thing is I can't, I got into roughly 2 servers ealrier today and played for a bit but now when I try and join a server it just freezes so I have to join another server but the same thing happens so I close the game because I clearly can't play it only to find it F's up my internet connection for a good minute, I understadn beta is beta but I can't even beta test the game even though I'd love to.

I play many online games and this is the only game I have connection trouble with, not to mention the games horrible performance, but hey beta is beta and I've read the article about it being good by release anyway so I won't have to worry about that.

Shorter version: I can't connect to servers.

I find my first time connecting after a fresh restart of steam fails for some reason. I get to play for 1-2 minutes then i see myself or the model of my character which tells me i froze. I hit retry which gets stopped by a Authentication error. Then i keep retrying until i get in again. After this one pause im good till i quit the game.
