<div class="IPBDescription">FPS Lag</div>Does an AMD/ATI Build have lower performance atm?

Is an Intel/Nvidia one more optimized?

Also, is there going to be multiple core optimization?

Here are my specs that matter towards in-game performance.

AMD/ATI combo has always performed worse then Intel/Nvidia im affraid, it just shows more in NS2 then it would any other game.

Also, the CPU speed is a little slow (imo) to run ns2 at good fps.

    I currently have an i5 2500k clocked at 4.7ghz

I have an i5 2500k and crossfired 6870s and it runs like butter so its not necessarily a bad thing. But im guessing you probably mean your CPU not you GPU.

EDIT: What is it like in game with your rig?

EDIT 2: Ive personally never OCed an AMD COU but I found a decent guide here that might help you if you are into that sort of thing

I don't think NS2 runs any differently on equivalent Intel/AMD or Nvidia/ATI hardware. The issue is that NS2 runs best on highly clocked, single-threaded processors (think OCd to 4.5+Ghz), such that Intel wins out in that department. As long as you have a relatively powerful GPU, it doesn't matter much whether its Nvidia or ATI.
