Continuous healspray instead of burst

Simple idea: the gorges healspray shoots more like the flamethrower than as the shotgun.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could just hose down your teammates with healing bacteria? I don't think there needs to be alot of change in the code. Just a looping spray animation and sound, and maybe a couple of numerical tweaks.

I'm not talking about making heal faster/stronger, just change the way it shoots out of the gorges mouth.

    OK, now stop. Take a deep breath and exhale for as long as you can, now take into account that gorge is a fat dog compared to skulk and imagine how big his lungs are, put yourself in gorges position... would you really like to have one big exhale when you know what you must control your breathing in case sneaky marine rushes you?

    In fact, what difference would this change make at all?

    You fire once every second for ten damage, or you fire continuously doing 10 damage over the course of one second. What's the difference?

    It could make Healing Spray look prettier, and if the spray have the shape of a long cylinder (like the flamer) instead of a short cone, it could make Gorge healing smother. Instead of stepping on an Onos heels and inadvertently blocking the Onos, the Gorge can stay further back.

    Oh so it reduces my frames per second, eh? No thankyou :) And it's in the gorge's best interest sometimes to be at the heel so that the ono can stomp the marines near the gorge anyways.

    If I wasen't clear enough, I'm only talking about visual/audio changes + the constantly giving health instead of "chunks" of health with each healspray you shoot.

    To get it simple: the shotgunhealspray should be changed to a flamethrower-healspray in terms of firing the weapon.

    But how does it make sense from a 'creature shooting crap out its mouth' standpoint? I agree with ArcLight:

    Even if he could slowly breath out the stream, it makes sense that the Gorge wouldn't want to "wind" himself while in combat. Not to mention that there are many times where the Gorge is running around and would already be winded - I tend to think this is the norm for our little fatty - so the healspray is just as much as he can get out of his little lung(s).
