Make whips eat grenades

<div class="IPBDescription">Or at least stop throwing them into hives</div>So since whips suck terribly hard at throwing grenades back, and there's no way that anyone has seem to found to control how they're thrown back, why don't we just make the whips eat grenades. We could have the whips toss the grenades back at the marines, or at least just destroy them. It's so redundant when you get like 3 whips trying to cover one corner and just random grenade spam makes it pointless cause they get flung into walls.

But yeah, it would be a less buggy way. It wouldn't be as funny though :P
and kinda silly that you can play with the mechanics of it and actually be able to nade down a whip :o
Played a match today, and I could literally count 40 whips on the map. Lagathon.
This is part of the reason I suggested them eating grenades. What good is a whip if it just flings nades into walls? And to clarify I didn't necessarily mean for them to "eat" nades just to not throw them back. Or, we could designate a place where we want them to be thrown back as Khammander. Just some way to stop this ridiculous phenomenon of whips whipping nades into walls and hives.
Do whips show a radius of attack distance when you select them? I can't recall. If they don't, they should, so that you can organize the defense optimally - I dropped a whip by a harvester once, but misjudged the distance, and a marine happily chopped up the harvester because he was out of the whip's range.
I think there would not much left of you. Presure would nake you explode. In result 1 nade blows op a whip would make marines smile. Make them est nades dont explode would not make sense at all.
Though i would go with other suggestion mention. Let them toes back nade to where it was launched from, make nade hostile protjectile when tossed back, would be more effective then just kill the marine self but if hole group is near marine they taken with them as well. But goes last part would be a tiny bit OP.
But im big fan of friendly fire :) makes you be more causions where to fire or bitr, would be funny see a skulks bite a other skuls dead excedently or onos smashing skulk dead because he was to close to the marine onos wanted to kill hehe.
This needs to happen. Until they remove the lmg from the grenade launcher, there needs to be a heavier penalty for a whole team of marines rushing GLs.
Putting an Grenade launcher on a LMG has been UWE's biggest game design mistake.
