I've long wanted flexibility in the comm view positioning (mainly zoom, tilt, and rotate). However, I don't think UWE is planning to go the route of wall/ceiling chambers (outside of gorge placed ones). In particular, they'd need to institute a comm free-look view without the current comm level viewing restrictions.
He should be able to change his com view to a lookaroundhivesight like The view while you spawn.so The khammander can only change His view in a Room wich a hive there so he cant use unfairly places.
Actually, I like this point a lot and it might just be the conversation to dramatically distinguish the marine and alien commander experience.
Let me throw in my two cents to modify this recommendation.
<b><u>Alien Commander Experience</b></u> <ul><li>Khamm has no overhead view</li><li>Khamm moves around the map invisible to marines at super speed</li><li>Khamm has a view kind of like alien view + cloak (a ghost like view)</li><li>Khamm can click on his minimap to move instantly across the map</li><li>Khamm builds structures similarly to gorge (first person with placement guides)</li><li>Khamm cannot see marines/marine-structures while moving unless exposed via hive sight</li><li>Khamm could place eggs to determine where aliens spawn</li></ul>
Overall, the Khamm is no longer a "commander" so to speak, more like a super-gorge. The commander might be visible to aliens (when in alien sight only), as some sort of consciousness (a sprite/particle effect only).
