Graphics Card for NS2?

I've been trying to find a card that will let me play at atleast a decent frame rate. I currently have an HD 3800 series, which works well for every game except NS2, even on the lowest settings. Does anyone use an HD 4850? I found one for relatively cheap, and I was hoping that would get me at roughly 30 fps mid-battle. Or if someone has a recommendation for a cheap video card which will get me to roughly the same performance.

Probably the cheapest card worth buying without wasting money would be the HD 6870 unless something changed recently.
Please keep in mind that the game will not run really well on any system right now and is SEVERELY limited by CPU clock speed, not graphics performance.
Edit: Made the SEVERELY even bigger!
I have i5 2500k on 4,5Ghz with ATI HD 6950 and even on lowest settings when nothing is happening 40-80 fps and in fire time, it can get down to like 23-43, depend what is time in round. More time = less fps (becose structeres, cysts, ....)
Cpu ussage is like 40%/30%/25%/35% and gpu is 30%-40%.
I will not specualte why its crap, specialy as marine when you have to shot small jumping thing in far, but its server and also map dependent.
Maybe i will say, that to me it seems to render all the map in the direction you look. Even when you look into the wall, where you should have like bilion and bilion fps, if behind it is rest of the map fps get down.
There is working occlusion culling in the game and has been since forever. The game's rendering is working fine and (as I've already stated before) the game is limited by the CPU. The graphics card obviously handles most of the graphics processing and since graphics are not the bottleneck, looking at a wall doesn't get you much of an FPS boost.

Is I stated, i dont care where is the problem in game mechanic, yust get it fixed.
I dont see how my cpu can be limiting game when its not even using 40 % of it.So logical conclusion is, that problem is within the game.
Single-threaded Lua is single-threaded. That's how.
Are you two dumb? have you read what i wrote?

Those % are for each core if you didnt notice.
/btw they stated some time ago, that they do split everythink they can to other cores.
Seems to work, but still one core (in my case 1st one) do more work then others. Still not even close to 50% (at 1st core for dumb mamals).
Anyway stated what i wanted in first post here, so no more talk for me.

You're clueless, hope you make good on not talking anymore.
It's a beta and a beta is mainly there for testing the game, not enjoying it. Of course we do that as well, but we simply can't have everything at the same time.
