<div class="IPBDescription">Viral Advertisement</div>College students could be a huge demographic for this game. How can we reach them? The team doesn't have the budget to advertise. So why don't the college students who play NS2 do some advertising for the game? I've done some small things, like write "www.naturalselection2.com" on desks. I've done this plenty of times and wonder if anybody has ever actually checked out the website. So maybe people could go out and chalk up the sidewalks, put up flyers for the game, on college campuses, to draw attention to the game. Any ideas for a viral college/university advertising campaign?

    Sure! I can make some little hand out add cards on photoshop, ill start making a design. I know for a fact there are ton of lan partys and such on campus here, im sure tons of peps would be interested.

    There's a ton of bulletin boards around campus that anyone can post stuff on. Once the semester starts, I'll gladly pin up some stuff for NS2 around the Computer Science building.

    Nerdy college like Oregon State? LAN parties and such will be your best bet to promote NS2, heh if some weekend keys/giveaways were available toget sent out to those huge LAN parties, OSU/University of Oregon like to have a civil war lan every year, huge buwstling of nerds like 200+ meet up to destroy eachother at the club level of reser stadium, event gets sponsored too by big brands, if you are one of those nerdy colleges, hell yea get involved.

    Yeah we've got tons of places to put things up at my university. I'm probably gonna chalk up the sidewalks with the website. And people will be all, "oh what's this 'naturalselection2.com'?

    Someone made a starship-troopers style marine recruiting poster once. That would be perfect to post around town and colleges. :p

    I'll be starting starting classes pretty soon, if someone was to make an actual poster type of thing for this, (preferably black and white) I could put them up around the campus.

    This far i have gotten two people to pre-order the game! It's something, right?

    I'm trying to advertise it too as much as I can. NS2 really deserves all the attention it gets, and much, much more.
