Limit fps?

Is there a console command for limiting the fps?

My graphics card gets stupidly warm wile playing because my fps gets high, I normally just enable Vsync for most games and that sorts it.
But obviously with NS2 I can't do that.

    Not console, but D3DOverrider can do it. I don't now how to get it except as part of Rivatuner.

    The game has a maximum limit of 100FPS embedded into the game,should be low enough and also I would love to see a console command to release the 100FPS once the performance is up to speed.

    People with 120hz monitors would probably prefer a 120FPS lock, damn I want this game to be able to get up to those 60 and 120 constant FPS speeds :P

    Enforce FPS limit of 20, so everyone can be on equal footing.
