Marine Sprint: Camera Wobble

I'm not sure if others are affected by this, but I experience motion sickness if I use marine sprint due to the camera wobble. Is there any way we can ease down on the camera motion whilst sprinting, or perhaps replace it with a blurring motion effect instead? Or perhaps just give us an option to disable the jerky camera movement during sprint via a console command or interface option?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Luckily they have a slider for how much wabble you want on your screen.
Doom and duke wobble was up and down though. NS2 sprint is more like down to either side in turn.
How is it that motion sickness works though? I mean, you're not getting it when you're frantically tracing a skulk up and down walls?
Personally I dig the swaying when sprinting. It's an added cost, something to keep you from keeping sprint button pressed at all times. You're less able to spot skulks, but you move fast. An expected tradeoff.

I don't control when I get motion sickness :/, it just happens. When people have legitimate issues like feeling nauseous or motion sickness, a UI command to control the amount of wobble or a console command isn't too much to ask for. I am not looking at this from a gameplay perspective or trade-offs in terms of skill. To put it simply, I love NS2 and want to keep playing the it -- and a part of the game makes me physically sick. Hence the request.
You can mitigate sprint abuse with a different kind of design, such as a small delay between sprinting and being able to fire (which I believe is already ingame).
Yeah, I like it the way it is too. The trade off is just right.
I get motion sickness when I've been up for over 24hrs working on projects or playing games, that's when it's time to get off and get some rest, lol. If you're getting motion sickness from this, I hope the dev can make a toggle for you.

Request for a mod that disables Sprint. I don't see the advantage of this as your buddies will be way ahead of you. Marines gotta sprint, that was part of the training course.
Well, that escalated quickly.... Every time I see a post about a small detail, there will always be someone who will want the entire feature related to the detail removed from the game.
No problems with camera wobble here, in fact, i love it. It adds to the immersion. And for the love of all that's holy don't even consider removing sprint, just throwing that out there.

There has been so many posts on why sprint should be removed I wont bother, but sprint breaks alot of game play mechanics.
I'll leave it there...
I definitely would use it.

Ok, then i shall leave it and not tell you why it does not brake anything and is an absolutely fine-working mechanic.
I for one don't mind having a way to turn it off. It's nice to have the wobble for that bit more immersion, but in clan matches it'll probably be turned off if that option is available. After all, it's easier to spot things on screen if it moves less.

But it's not realistic. As I've said before, do you fling your eyes left and right while running or do you keep looking straight? I'm pretty sure everyone would say the latter. I have no problems with view bobbing per se, the problem is the angular movement of the camera. If it was up-down and side-to-side while pointing straight, like in most other games, people wouldn't have as big of a problem with motion sickness.
Cause everyone in life runs like this right? Seriously, please don't ever try to bring realism into an NS2 topic, it really has no place.

But let me say this:
Low fps+screen wobble makes it VERY disorienting. Screen wobble is fine, but its the low fps that might be the problem.
Well yeah, obviously you look straight ahead but your head does bounce about. Your veiw is not perfectly staight as your body moves, I go on runs reguarly, how else am I sopose to keep my self from getting a beer belly lol.
so if the marine on the ground wouldn't notice the bobbing motion, why should we as players notice it ??? it not immersive at all.
It was absolutely horrible. It was almost like GTA 4's drunk camera action.
The wobble seems to be an aesthetic more than a gameplay "trade-off/balancer" to using sprint.
