Fire-Breathing Lerk

I have just started a release thread for the <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=120288" target="_blank">fire breathing lerk</a> mod.

Currently in early stages, it is not ready for release, but here's a quick video of it in action so far..

    There's a dragon?!!? on the clorf?

    All you need now is a knight with a big axe or a sword and you are sorted.

    lol pretty funny. I would make it the mouth view model though when in use, rather than spikes.

    For sure! I used spikes as the base when creating the flamethrower ability, but changing to the mouth view is one of many tweaks needed :)

    wouldnt fire farting make more sense? you could use it as afterburner

    I already have Gorge's Farting Bilebombs - see sig for link, I don't want to seem obsessed with farting!

    We'll see once I get it working fully, I might make it come out of both ends, CURRY Lerk!

    Nice mod, great work! I personaly dont like the idea of a lerk breathing fire but still a cool looking mod nevertheless

    Make me a Dragon model and it will no longer be a lerk breathing fire :)

    Haha well that would be more my sort of thing, unfortianlty, I dont know how to make a dragon model :(

    this is awesome :D does it set marines on fire? if so, it even fits the lerk's role for dealing damage over time...
    one thing you might test is wether the fire will burn away the lerk's own spores, which would be quite unfortunate.
    since marines have neither energy nor whips, this could actually turn out nicely balanced.

    I removed the code for fire to burn the lerk spores!! I may be stupid but c'mon ;)

    You can see us testing that firing and sporing. Unfortunately, at the moment the fire damages nothing, this is purely because in NS2 code Marines are non-flammable, and fire does not hurt friendly players. I will make adjustments to the marine uniform to ensure proper fires take root on contact.
