But the movie was.. indescribably awesome in my most humble of opinions. Just absolutely breathtaking.
LOTR rules btw.

Ill admit ive only seen Fellowship of the Ring and it sucked and its just my opinion. But hey I guess I have wierd movie tastes compared to all of you. I don't and never liked the Star Wars Series either, My dad owns episodes 4-6 and I never got into them. And episode 1 was the only movie I saw in theatres in which I actually fell asleep. Didnt bother seeing episode 2
Lord Of The Rings The Two Towers
I saw Equilibrium as well, I thought it was pretty neat, but Two Towers blows anything I saw this year and last year away. Totally away.
In fact, I'm going to see it again when I have the time, absolutely worth my money.
Legolas: His horse-mounting move had the entire crowd cheering. (Watch TTT or you won't know why)
D&D movie: Hah. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. HAH. hah. hah.
Oh, I have a single complaint. Enough dwarf stereotyping. I realize the dwarves have certain common characteristics, but when the only line a dwarf has in a movie is "watch the beard," "I hate horses," or "our women have beards," you can tell the writer didn't much care for depth of character.
Problem is that most of these stereotypes were deduced from Glimli and the dwarves in The Hobbit. You can't exactely change them because they became a little cliché in the meanwhile.
Right, Tolkien did pioneer much of the "dwarf" concept... I guess it's because the first time I read about dwarves was the D&D player's handbook, where the two paragraphs describing them pretty much sum up all we know of dwarves, so I figured movies were just being short-sighted by following exactly what the handbook described...
It's kind of scary that an entire race could act so similarly to one another... I guess it's difficult to create a unique character that has such set physical constraints.

It's also kind of scary that people worry so damn much about the dwarf's rights in the media.
The 3 hours just flew by so damn fast and left me aching for more. Cant wait for ROTK. *sigh* another year to go. Apart from "Aragorn's death", Merry and Pippin and the Ents getting so little screen time and that part of Faramirs 'change of character" i say PJ stUck pretty much to Tolkiens TTT.
Loved the Rohan scenes. The eventual build up to the battle of helms deep was AWE INSPIRING. Gandalf on shadowfax with Eomer and company charging down into the mass or Uruk-Hai was how i imagined it in my mind. It was the bestest scene..omg. Oh yeah not to forget Legolas neat stunt on the horse (better than the shield one!) and the worgs.
So much to think about. I couldnt eat after watching TTT recolleting all those scenes however hard i try. Those above certainly stood out. I bought the OST with the gold foil stamp on it and with that leathrette darkblue cover. I paid quite abit for that one Does anyone know how to access the exclusives on it? cant seem to unlock them on my com.
*sigh*

I thought TT was far far superior to the first one. I'd say I'm a pretty diehard fantasy fan, and I never really liked the books, didn't think the first movie was that great, but was very impressed b the second one. I'd recomend u see it.
