    I also like the Exo's design.
    There are some balance issues, I don't mean gameplay balance. I mean literally balance issues..
    It looks top-heavy and prone to falling backwards.
    The exo looked a little odd to me at first but after a couple minutes I definitely got that feeling of multipurpose exosuit.
    The aesthetic definitely matches the feel of The Frontiersman.

    I can't wait to see what lock-down does.

    I reeaallly love the design. The bulky solid look makes it look tough as coffin nails! No pipes or tubes that are exposed to the dangerous alien claws and teeth

    One thing I notice on the Exo from the videos is that some of the animations don't feel quite right, like the walking animation doesn't sync up with the speed at which the suit is moving, n' sometimes the movements don't look like they have much weight in them. But if I recall the Onos had these same problems at first too and I'm sure they will get tweaked/fixed in the following patches.

    Thanks Rant. Yeah, the skating is definitely an issue. The walk animations were done a long time ago, and the final walking speed is still be adjusted and balanced. Once we get the final speed nailed down, we can fix the animations to match. It actually has already been slowed after most of that footage was recorded, so it should be a little less noticeable then in the video.

    This is so awesome!
    I like that the Exo actually looks like a mecha. Though didn't expect the claw look so hand-like, would be fun to grab skulks mid-air and throw them at something(or maybe squish them). I hope those Exo movement sound effects are in the game as well, preferably loud =)
    The Exo looks fantastic and the trailer is one of the best(aliens look really menacing and the Flamethrower scene is so dramatic), thanks for making this! And yes, sharing with friends and upvoting this as I'm writing! =D

    Nope, it just means when Sept 4th hits, Natural Selection 2 will be on Steam store for pre-order (but no more Beta access for new buyers). Build 217 is coming (hopefully) for later today.

    And maybe I'm just dumb but some of those maps look new?! What map was at 2:10 in the video and 2:32? Those look like an NS1 Combat Map but I can't remember which one.

    I think the suit is pretty cool. Bit surprised at how tall it is, and I wonder if it has any navigation issues in the lower overhang areas. I really like the mini guns and rounds going out, and the fist punch is really clever. Nice work!

    Can't wait to give it a try!

    It was very amazing, the ingame part too.
    I love the exosuit, i never guessed it will looks like that. I just saw op. prime in the placeholder <a href="http://www.android-hilfe.de/attachments/android-news/62510d1324979845-transformer-prime-asus-sieht-keine-rechtsverletzung-optimusg1.jpg" target="_blank">image</a> of ns2 (who done that? ^^)
    This realy brings NS2 on a new dimension!
    Welder? important then ever! but exosuit can't wear it, so jetpack mates could help, im sure exosuits will make teamplay more important then ever, also for aliens.
    I see onos fall in love with bilebomb gorge way more then now. (hopefully the onos don't die that fast like in the trailer :P)
    Realy guys, this trailer was great the trailer gives me realy heebie-jeebies.

    Will the exosuit player able to look straight down? i mean its a mech right? if not, skulks would have a good time.

    I don't think it looks too bulky, considering it's an armor suit and not a fancy toy.

    Will the Lerk gas be more dangerous again for non-exos? Or:

    Will the exo be vulnerable to Lerk gas like turrets?

    Please tell me we (aliens) get a tool to disturb that killing machine other than brute force.

    Yes. Due to having to deal with pesky skulks, you can look directly down and see everything clearly, with a larger fov than a typical marine. (not including the dashboard that is the HUD)

    No not vulnerable to lerk gas. (but umbra still blocks 1/2 his bullets? And spikes are still quite effective against them!)
    Quite a few ways to hamper an exo's effectiveness.. they aren't as much of a tank as you think they are, they are currently better at dishing out damage than they are staying alive. (all of which is ofc subject to change in the name of balance etc)
    Tip: kill the marine in the back of the formation doing the welding, first!

    -Are welders slower at repairing exosuits than they are com stations? So that exosuits are not practically repaired instantly?

    I've noticed the doors on Docking are no longer weldable. Its giving the impression you can't weld doors anymore.
