Hello there,
Even with low resolution (720p) and everything off, I still get low fps.
I mostly notice low fps when:
- Smoke from exo animation
- Smoke from jp animation
- sparks from welders
- spores
I was thinking if there are other ways to improve my fps, maybe turn of particles' system, reduce lighting quality, something?
Can the game be modded to increase performance? I havent modded it yet, but maybe, there could be a performance mod?
I also have constant low fps after suspending my computer, then I need to restart windows and they get to normal. What implications does suspending windows has on NS2 performance?

These options are all available in the menu now.
Turning off particles and lighting are obviously cheats.
The only option you have for increasing your FPS without blatantly cheating is removing most of the UI, but it won't help you that much.
