Vetran hasa account already and preorder

I bought the game before this new preorder but after the first preorder which makes me a vetran i think. I have a problem i was checking the preorder and you get the unique marine armour which has kinda made me feel down as vetran because new players are getting the awesome looking skin for marine while im stuck with the old one asa vetran player. i tried see if i could buy the preorder jus so i could get all the preoder stuff new marine skin and extra cool stuff and i cant =[ steam says i can't buy it cause i already have natural selection 2. My question is this are vetrans been left behind with the same defualt skins or do we get to buy them 2 cause i feel i was a vetran buying the game in the early stages long before the new preorders, supporting the game and it looks like all the new players are getting new stuff while the vetrans get left in the dark unable to buy them now aswell. Are we been left in the dark when weve been supporting the game for awhile. Its justa question i'm asking as im prepared to pay but i dont want 2 separate steam accounts jus fora preorder =[ and i cant buy the preoder as i have the game already.

Because of my status, I was trying to check and verify if I got the new unique marine armor (since it is pretty badass, and by now the armor I got is looking dated in my opinion).
So, anyway, I thought that instead of asking first, I might just buy the preorder on steam so I could get the new armor and extra stuff like the awesome sound track, cool avatars, and awesome wallpaper. Unfortunately, steam says I can't buy another copy of the game since I have already a copy registered on steam.
Basically, I was wondering if those of us that are veteran status who didn't get the black TSA armor but bought the pre-order before steam are stuck with the default skin or have a way to buy them outright. Obviously, just getting them as a present would be much appreciated. :D
Unfortunately, I haven't found the information I want, so I feel sort of in the dark, obviously not Unknown Worlds' (a world class company) intention, so I thought I would ask the forum and try to shine a light on this issue.
From a personal standpoint, since I first saw the armor being offered with the steam pre-order, I have thought it was the bees-knees, and I just want a fair chance to get it and support my favorite company at the same time.

On another note (not pointed at you TechPri3st as you have already said the site was down when you looked) But the amount of people asking about this is quite anoyying, No one bothers to read anymore.
