<div class="IPBDescription">wait to fade or keep rushing??</div> in your opinion what's the best strategy when you have nearly the 44 res needed to become fade while your 2nd hive is getting sieged or taken out in some form??? it really hurts me sometimes to sit there and see all my teamates dying, and the hive being completely destroyed, though I always think there might be a way to get them before it's too late. but at the same time that minute or 2 of just sitting there waiting for those few extra resources could bring me to a much higher advantage, and could be our only chance of getting the hive back. but also what if the gorges aren't bright enough to have 3 movement chambers at the other hive?? what do you guys do?

you could go gorg, go near your hive and support current fades attacking the sieges, IF the attack takes too long your already a gorg to put the hive back up
if you went fade, you might very well be too late.
If you're a Skulk at the hive & it suddenly comes under siege & you know nothing of the situatiion (IE ~ wheres its coming from, how its defended etc), I would say stay as a Skulk. For all you know they're sieging from a vent unaccessible to a lone Fade. So evolving into a Fade there wouldn't help very much.
What I do is stay a Skulk, investigate & make my decision on the spot. Sometimes it's best to stay Skulk, sometimes its best to take the time to evolve into a Fade or Lerk.
I highly doubt theres a solid, "say all, be all" answer to your question though.
If it's clear the hive will be lost (it's already being hit by the siege blasts), become a fade while you still can.
If there's still a chance of saving it, (ex. they haven't finished any outpost yet) and you are close enough to help, then swarm on them.
In most cases though, I would recommend fading.
