Fist thing you want to do is try on a pair, and not just for a minute, you need to make sure that these things arent going to make your ears hurt after a long use period (I made the mistake of buying a apair before testing them, got home, plugged them in, and Boyhowdy, did my ears start to hurt after 1 hour of play) So I returned them and got store credit (Lucky it was a music store so I bought some CD's) I have an elcheapo noname brand that have ample ear room and have always been comfortable (only problem is they broke, hence the new pair I bought) But ive seen a nice pair of Behind the ears Headphones with a mic attatched in a computer store that im going to go buy (Own a pair of behind the head earphones, worn them for 3+ hours and my ears werent sore at all, but I think im not a bit deaf. or that could be from loud music at nightclubs.

Anyway, im sure there are several great headphones around (Senneheiser(sp?) is a very good brand for headphones) just make sure that your ears are comfortable, otherwise its not worth it.

plantronics have their hs1 followups in a few different formats. Audio 90 is over the head, think the 80 is the behind the head model. Both should be under usd$40, I purchased a set for $22 delivered.

labtec and a few other places also make headsets.

yea thats exactly what happened with my plantronics headset, but i just ignored the pain for a week and now i can wear them indefinetly.

Ouch, id rather not suffer the pain, (I do like to wear my MP3 headphones that are comfortable but with sore ears id not be able to wear anything) even if it was just for a week, id rather have the earroom. But I guess if thats what happens, then maybe you dont need to worry too much about the headphones size.

or in the purely Headphone department Sennheiser HD600 is very good. I've got that plus a plantronics something or other around my neck for mic.

I got mine at Circut City for $15, the sound is very high quality and so is the mic.

Since you already have good headphones, just get a cheap headset to wear around your neck. that's what I do with my headset, works quite well.

I have this Labtec set that I picked up for $15 at Wal-Mart. Its great for HL Voice comm, as I've been told that my voice comms come through much clearer than almost anybody else's. Ditto w/ DJing shoutcast.

    Should fit your needs well.

I bought my headset from Radio Shack. Very nice headset. I just didn't like how tight of a fit it was, so for the past year I've had it stretching across my computer case. That helped a lot.

I paid 30 bucks for it on sale... was $60 normally I believe.

Either that, or check out what types of headsets Labtec has. They make quality stuff! Seriously. Make sure you get a headset that filters out the outside noise a lot. (Full Ear headphones)

I got a headset at Radio Shack as well. Behind the head, excellent sound, volume control and perfect recording. $35. The pain, however, is an issue. What I do is take it off between maps/while dead and give my ears a good rub, it works, but i'll try the computer case thing, sounds fruitful...

I personally use this set from LABTEC. They have great sound and I haven't had anyone complain about my voice breaking up.
