Hello,

I've done a little <a href='http://users.skynet.be/bk378145/Building-guide.jpg' target='_blank'>commander's building guide</a> [Edit : There's a better version below] for me. But why don't share it ?

What are you thinking about it ?

Here is a little legend :

<i>Blue : Structures.
Green : Advanced Structures.
Red : Items.
Black : Improvements.

Numbers in brackets are resources required.

-> : Just need the building.
---> : Building need to be upgraded.
=> : Is an improvement.</i>

It can be useful for marines too. To know when they could get new items...

    it is faster than looking at the manual

    It helps me as a commander (I hope I could play without that soon, but I just begin to play as comm), to see the order to build and what I need to get items. After trying to be comm once, I though a global view of buildings would help me, and it would. And as a simple marine I know when I can ask for something without annoying the commander.

    I thought perhaps it would help someone else.

    Looks good, maybe add a mention that you need to upgrade the armory to get HMG's and GL's?

    adv. TF is needed for siege turrets and adv.armory is needed for HMGs.
    thats a nice thingy for a commander, now just go updating it with stuff like estm. building/researching times of the stuff and whatnot

    Hey you made a mistake, it cost 20 40 and 60 rp for armour upgrades lvl 1, 2 and 3. (you wrote 50 for lvl 3 armour)

    Ok, I've corrected mistakes and change some little things, <a href='http://users.skynet.be/bk378145/Building-guide-v2.jpg' target='_blank'>here</a>'s the second version. [Edit : Better version below]

    Adding building/researching time is a good idea (Times are in the manual, I think), but it may overload the table ? Do you think it's really usefull (I ask your commander advices <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> ) ?

    Just find the times in seconds and add them in square brackets

    i.e. Command Console (30) [XX] ---> Infantry portal (15) [XX]

    Oh, and some of those values will be changing soon with the new patch, check the front page on the NS homepage for the new values, may as well get a jump on them.

    cost changes in 1.04 will be - they say:

    - Reduced shotgun cost from 20 to 17
    - Increased cost of infantry portal from 15 to 22
    - Increased cost of phase gate from 20 to 25
    - Increased scan cost from 1 to 3
