Pre-Order today, get access to beta?

I am having a hard time finding information about pre-ordering and Beta.
I showed NS2 to a coworker and he is interested, and wants to play asap is possible.

Will pre-ordering the deluxe edition include access to NS2 Beta?

I'm just going to paraphrase for you:

Beta access for any new people has, unfortunately, ended. However, the game will release in October, so it's not too long to wait.
You can buy the game through Steam, here: <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/app/4920" target="_blank">http://store.steampowered.com/app/4920</a>
Anyone who buys the game before it launches in October gets a free upgrade to the Digital Deluxe version, which though it doesn't include access to the Beta, does come with:
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Pre-Purchase Natural Selection 2 and receive a free upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition! The Digital Deluxe Edition includes:

    Official Soundtrack

Almost 1 hour of tribal, industrial music composed by David John and Simon Chylinski. This includes all the music from our trailers and videos.

    Digital Art Book

40+ pages of concept art by Cory Strader, including environments, creatures, weapons and more. Cory discusses the process behind designing the unique technological/animal look in the game.

    Exclusive Wallpapers and Avatars

Community artist Rantology created some of the best and most unique views of creatures in the NS universe. Custom Steam avatars complete the package.

    Exclusive in-game marine model

A new marine model with custom visor and equipment makes you look distinctive in-game. Existing owners of the original "Black Armor" marine will be able to choose between any models they own.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Anyone who buys the game after the release date will get the normal version of the game.

It's funny how the veterans help with all those questions at this moment. I think UWE can be proud of the community those days ;)

I think they've always been proud of the community, and for good reason! We're just getting lots more opportunities to show it with the new players asking more questions. :D
