Greetings

EDIT: Nevermind, just tried the Win 7 Compabilitymode and it works ;)

Same thing happened to me with once I tried build 221. Been using Windows 8 for the last 2 months and it started freezing as soon as the map finished loading. Switching to Windows 7 compatibility mode fixed it.

    Back on that problem...

With NS2 released, i cant start the game via NS2.exe anymore because it doesnt show up "up to date" servers, dont know why this is.. but cant start the game through steam.. hanging on a black screen with the loading cursor :/

You could try playing around with the command line options for running ns2.exe:

    <a href="http://unknownworlds.com/ns2/wiki/index.php/Console_Commands" target="_blank">http://unknownworlds.com/ns2/wiki/index.php/Console_Commands</a>

Try -game ns2 for a start? Not sure if that'll work.

It's probably something to do with DirectX9 if it's compatibility mode that fixes it for some people.
