Are destroyed power nodes bugged?

Hey everyone,
I did a quick search, but the forum will not allow me to use the search term "bug" because it is less than 4 characters, lol.
Anyway, I'm wondering about a change in one of the recent builds. I don't remember if it was 222, or 223, but at some point it seems that power nodes that get destroyed are rebuilt incredibly quickly. I remember during the WasabiCup (I think?) when there was a very tense match where Archaea kept taking out a power node in flight control and it took forever to get back up, and Hugh commenting that they really needed welders to restore power more quickly.
However, as of currently, it seems destroyed nodes are rebuilt almost as quickly as new nodes.
Most recent scenario in memory for me is my team was attempting to clear out Crossroads in Summit. The marines had a PG there, 2-3 marines (at that time,) and like 124897436890345 mines. We made a concerted effort to rush it, and I managed to take out the power just before dying. I voiced this to my team to take out the remaining 2-3 marines before they got the power back up for the PG. Before I could respawn, I heard my teammates saying the power was back up.
It sounds a little ridiculous, as now there appears to be no real reason to kill the power. Is this a bug that regressed in one of the recent builds, or is this intended?
Thank you.

lol, that wasn't my intention, but in any case, it's a relief to hear that it is indeed confirmed as a bug.
I was just slightly worried as I hadn't seen anyone else talking about it, so I had no idea if it was just me or not.
I haven't heard anything official about this, but I imagine the playtesters have probably brought it up at some point by now.
Thanks for the confirmation!
We worked on taking a power node, and after dying, and backup arriving, the power was back up.
So it doesnt work well in some situations. Basically need to have full force with you after taking power down to hold a position.
