Micro lag in combat

There is an issue that I had since at least beta 17x which I didn't report yet since I though that it will be fixed in the future but now, since the game is released soon, I need to address it!

The problem is that usually the game runs just smooth BUT when I am in combat (marine attacking skulk; skulk attacking marine; hydra attacking marine; etc) I get these super annoying micro lags. For a split second (~100-300ms) the game freezes. This happens several times during combat not just every now and then. This is ONLY when in combat and it is absolutely deal breaking for me since I have great problems aiming. I do not know what causes it but if it doesn't get fixed this game is practically unplayable for me!

check your mouse and mouse brand. if you can tone down your poll rate to 125hz should fix it. if not swap out the mouse temp go back to a old ball mouse see if you still have the issue. let me guess your using a razor mouse?

I have a Gigabyte mouse now and before that it was a Logitech.

Also: the solution here cannot be to use an old ball mouse to 'fix' the problem.

For mouse issues you can try messing around with Raw Input on/off for testing purposes

In terms of micro stutter like this, it is usually something about the game needing to load materials from the HDD. How much RAM and VRAM (and type) do you have and what setting are you running on (texture quality)

You guys don't seem to understand: it is ONLY in battle and it has nothing to do with my mouse nor that the game has to load anything. I conclude that because

    a) it is the very same with two different mouses
    b) when not fighting anyone then its perfectly fine
    c) it is ONLY in battle
    d) the game doesn't need to load any further resources. If it did then the lag would stop shortly after it loaded everything it needed but it doesn't.
