Don't alienate your regular clients.
I was playing a game this morning, and I joined, and the Aliens were whooping on the Marines.... but to my surprise, no one had any kills by then. I waited for the game to end, and it started a new one. I checked the players list, and I found out why they were winning. The first guy that I had ever seen exploit this bug was on the aliens. I waited out this round, too. It only lasted for a few minutes.
When the next game started, I decided to record a demo of this power resources bug. I've got the demo if the Devs or Server admins would like to take a look at it. I'll upload it if it is requested.
-----------------------------------
The above was posted in the Bug Reports forum aswell. Again, if any admins would like to take a look at what's going on, I'd be more than happy to upload my demo.

If it goes back to the ready room, it's 10 points are added to the aliens resource-pool.
This can be repeated the whole "latejointime" long.
The only fix for this, and I strongly recommend doing it, is to put the following into the server.cfg:
mp_latejointime 0
The backdraw is, that every player not already ingame when the game starts, starts with zero respoints and has to wait for the standard spawn.
But you won't have any trouble with this alien-resource-exploit anymore.
Maybe 1.04 could fix this?
Like e.g. no Player gets 10 respoints more then once per game?
