Natural Selection 2 still crashes Windows 7 after closing

<div class="IPBDescription">kind of dissapointed this hasn't been fixed yet.</div>Has anyone else seen this happening and does anyone know a fix for this? It get really annoying, about every 1/3 time i close the game it completly freezes windows 7, without the abillity to move the mouse, open task manager or to do anything and only option being to restart the game.

    i had this with the latest build, but only once. freeze on exit, lost k/b & mouse had to restart comp.

    It's sounds as if you have had this for a while now ,, I am sure that most ppl play on windows 7 and I have never heard of this bug sounds more like its got somthing to do with your machine and not windows 7, maybe putting up your machines spec and some1 that knows what they are talking about might be able to help you

    I have this bug since i bought Natural Selection 2 in febuary
    GTX 580
    Intel I7 950 @ 3.07
    8GB RAM

    even though i had the same issue once on a new i5 ivybridge machine i tend to agree with arnyboy87. there are innumerable 3rd party drivers, h/w configs that could be the root cause .

    could try using msconfig to turn stuff off & see if that helps isolate the issue.

    I had this bug the first time today with b224 and never before.
    After about 5 minutes i could use windows again.

    Phenom 2 x4 955
    Radeon 4850 HD
    4GB Ram
    Windows 7 (fresh install since 2 weeks)
