Can't authenticate.

Nothing. Tried joining every server, tried making my own; even tried doing explore mode & training, I get kicked back to the menu each type. I verified my files as well and I am running no mods.

    This sounds like a Steam problem. Keep trying!

    Don't go & blame Steam, plenty of my Steam games still work like L4D or CS and whatnot. As do games such as RO2...and the like. Not their faults. :P

    Same here. Was working fine until the Spark Editor crashed so hard that I had to reboot, and now I can't test my map. Woe is me! I'd play some NS2 to pass the time, but alas... :D

    Can't sleep so I got up to play me some NS2. Can't join due to this friggin authenticate issue when the servers are showing up fine. What gives, Steam? :/

    played earlier today and it worked .. now cant do anything

    other steam games work ... get a steam cloud warning upon launching NS2 and then cant do anything like all people here .... need to play tonight .. finally the patch and now this :/
