So there are plenty of WTF moments in this game. Some are funny, some make me want to strangle a kitten. They range from WTF how did I do 300 damage to a skulk with my shotgun and he still live?! To WTF how did I just get under the floor in Departures. I'm curious about all the weird stuff people are experiencing in game.

Seriously wtf I hate those people who are so selfish (in a <i>video game</i> where they don't really stand to lose anything!!!) they won't use their ammo to protect others.
my fav WTF moment was long ago when gore (onos basic attack) was knocking people back&prone (sending you flying with an inbuilt stomp-effect, very deadly!). one onos took out several marines in computer lab and i was the last one alive. he gored me and i flew backwards towards a wall... and into a phasegate we just had put up! heavily injured and prone, i ended up save in our main base.

No most people have basic green armour. Black armour was for people who bought the special edition, which gave instant access to the engine test, then alpha, beta, etc. I think they stopped selling that when alpha ended?
Well I think that was a bad moment to sit on the ceiling for the Skulk.
Another good moment was on Tram. Was running into Server (alone) when I suddenly heared Gorge taunts. I was happy to get a fattie down and saw him at the Techpoint, well he was just standing still, so I began to shoot him, and that was a really bad idea! Suddenly i hear 10000s Gorge Taunts and around 5 other Gorges decloaking and chasing me down with healspray....no chance to escape and died a slowly painfull, but deserved, dead with lots of Quiiiiecks!
It's easier to tell them apart via their digital visors, since most of the lighting is dark in NS2. However, yes, you can tell them apart easily in a brightly lit RR.

You can tell them apart. It isn't a big deal though and makes no difference to gameplay. If there was a bug that changed by black armour to green I might not notice it for months.

was the first thing i can remember too. knocked you (accidentally :P) directly into the phase gate and saved your life... ^^
That and the 10 Gorge hydra dump on the 100 person server, with 2 comm chair relos, never forget that game!
