The software to make it happen
I've never recorded a game, other than demos in the HL engine. What software do you use for this, and is it free?
It's usual to see 2-3 times the same topic on the first page of a forum, I really don't get it. (I know, it's not the case here :D)
Here is your response: http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...=115693&hl=
Personally I use CamStudio 2.00 and like it VERY much. I don't usually publish stuff, I keep my stuff to myself and sometimes share selected sequences. It can record in any codec, encode in high-compression mode (lossless/lossy) in realtime and is open source.
So my opinion is: CamStudio + K-Lite MEGA Codec Pack = multi-win (several successfully working codecs to choose from)
