    Charlie said something about 65.000 pre-orders in total + 40k copies given out for free (All pre-orders before steam sale launch got an extra key to give out). With the extra sales on steam coming in now, I'm sure they'll easily hit 125k people. I don't know how many players NS 1 had, but in today's digital era with steam as a perfect platform, I have no doubt NS 2 will easily beat its numbers.

    NS1 was one of the most played Mods in Steam, if not the most one. But your words if true, give us a new hope to see a new Gold NS Era

    Insane and Mouse I definitely remember. I don't know how I never heard about this new release, but I'm glad it happened. It will be fun barreling down a tunnel as a Onos again :)

    Yep I use to play NS1 a ton back in it's hey-day and have been in on this beta for quite a while(about a year). Can't wait to start playing again(took a break towards the end of beta so I didn't get burnt out lol). Currently re-downloading it, though I am not to optimistic after seeing all the reports on crashing tonight.

    So far all the games I've been in have been 100% green, but it's been kind of fun to try to balance educating and facestomping all the new kids. =D

    I spend weeks and nights on this server (as euro) and had the most epic (unbelievable how two 16 player teams could manage to work so coordinated and tactical together as team) games ever in NS1 there :)
    Hope they will set up a G4B2S 32 player server up again wehen NS2 engine is ready for this ammount of players.
