    I take it you didn't bother to actually watch them because they are based of a console game and thus just concluded (or rather assumed) it would be rubbish, uninspired and boring ?

    They're pretty impressive and productions values seem substantial for a short series made for promotional purposes, its something I'd like to see happening more often with other games franchises.

    Personally I love the halo universe because of the books so seeing it all come to life in live-action is pretty cool.

    talking about production value

    that warthog they built for bungie in peter jacksons weta workshop in newzealand is just awesome. its based on mechanicals of a diesel nissan patrol, its using just basic chassis parts, the diesel engine, transmission and transfer case. everything else is very, very custom.

    No, I called them boring because there weren't a bunch of people shooting at each other. I enjoy the Halo universe and I think it's a pretty neat sci fi setting. I think the games are pretty good too, although I only really enjoy the first two because I can play them on PC rather than having to aim with thumbsticks.

    I was wondering how it was shot. I was assuming it was mostly CGI but everything looks so damn real, most hollywood movies don't even get close to this any more.

    jeez.... the chief needs a movie.

    i barely can control my nerdgasms here, even though i think the games suck, i kinda liked the books, and this mini series was quite nicely done.

    just dont let uwe boll touch it. fans of the series, or the books will throw their money at them. and gdamnit, was that fred and kelly/kat-087? omg! these awsum spartan eyes :o
