Just can't get a game 9/10

Server browers seems just messed up ,,, some times it doesn't even show any games then after a while they start showing up get one with spaces and then it attemps it then comes up saying couldn't make a connection or sumthing like that, this happens on servers that I know have spaces and no 1 joined when i tried or after ,, this needs fixed and I never had a problem until the patch before launch

    Give it a bit of time, servers probably need to get updated as the patching happens US times.

    The other trick is always verify the cache of NS 2 in Steam after a patch, used to get wierd issues just after patches and a verify used to sort them out.

    If you are having a lot of trouble with the server browser, use <a href="http://hypernovadesign.co.uk/nanogrid/" target="_blank">http://hypernovadesign.co.uk/nanogrid/</a> until they can resolve the issue. It's a web-browser so it works just as good as the ingame one.

    Could you try removing the file <drive>\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<userid>\4920\remote\options.xml and then verifying your NS2 Steam cache please?

    nope no joy ,,, just the same msg <a href="http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=106154546" target="_blank">Screenshots</a> thats the ones I toke just there but this has been going on since launch only way I can get a game is if one of my friends are playing I can still join by click their steam name > join game but none are on just now and thats 2 hours I have been trying now!

    Could you try to connect to my server, open console, type connect saturn.internetuplink.com
    Post your NS2 logfile as well please:
    To get to the file, press windows key + R, fill in "%appdata%\Natural Selection 2", hit enter.
    You can either copy paste it to the forums or post it into a website such as <a href="http://www.pastebin.com" target="_blank">http://www.pastebin.com</a> and post the link here on the forums.

    How do you connect to the internet? My guess is you have a router with a flood detection enabled, blocking all access or even shutting down your entire internet connection when you try to retrieve the server list. This is further proven by the fact that you seemingly can join servers if you connect from your friends list. What router do you use?

    I haven't changed router but and it used to work fine and also works on all other games so its not my router for sure :P

    However I did get a game there only thing I changed was disabling alien vision mod and coming off mumble both of which I have used in the past and its been fine , any ideas?

    i'm having the same problem

    i can't connect to games on my own but can join any games my friends are in with no problem

    disabled all firewalls and tried the stuff mentioned in this thread still not fixed

    would be nice if someone could find a fix for this
