    Looks good, but from that screenshot waste is going to be a nightmare to hold for aliens.

    Where do the eggs spawn? Why such a big hole in the middle of the room? Marines can fire straight down the middle, while aliens will have to come around the sides to get them. This looks beautiful, but I am fairly sure it won't play too well.

    I am fairly sure Max recommended below 1000 draw calls too.... although I may be mistaken. 1700 does seem rather high though..

    Yeah good point about waste hive, its not as marine friendly as the screenshot makes it look, but I've already got plans to rework it because of a cysting issue (i was hoping to have it so that you can walk underneath the tech point, but cysting doesnt work too well and its a bit cumbersomb to see underneath despite the commander invisible floor/ceiling) - but want to see how it plays first :)

    I may have too many lights / shadows in that area (think there is probably 80 lights or so) which could be ruining the performance

    I am not that confident in the final polish of my maps, I'm normally good at design, not finishing touches, but I will have a go at the hallway between The Pub and Docking Bay. I don't want to commit to any more than that :)

    I think I would have to run the map first to see what the rest looked like before I considered contributing to a single area as to not make the area I worked on look like it didn't belong in the map. If you have it ready for download somewhere I don't mind pitching in on a couple of rooms to complete the map, I'd be glad to. I might learn a thing or two in the process which is even better.

    okay, here we go: I would like to do one room/hallway for a bit training and pause from my own map for fresh thoughts.
    Some questions come to my mind:
    Which are still available?
    How I get the data (Dimensions of the room e.g.)?
    Whom I have to give the room when ready?

    Would like to contribute to the map!

    I never really looked at these screens before. Absolutely stunning, fellas (and ladies if you have some of those girl mappers in here). Really really good stuff here, can't wait to play it. Kinda wish I had gotten in on this.

    Thanks for all the feedback. All balance changes will be discussed once map testing begins. The map is about 90% complete.

    This is awesome! I had no idea this was going on. I'll try to make a couple of hallways... I'm off work for the next 4 days so. Seeing how terrible I am at this stuff I think 4 days for a few hallways seems very reasonable.

    Only concern I've got is that Oxygenation and Security RT's seem pretty close together. Otherwise it's looking really cool and I can't wait to try it out.
