<div class="IPBDescription">Do they really work?</div>Perhaps I'm a terrible commander. But when I'm helping marines (it probably happens as aliens) push a hive, and I'm dropping meds and ammo, I rarely seem to notice any notification that one of my other bases is being destroyed. The only time I ever get the notice is if they are attacking the command chair.... is that just me ignoring stuff or does that happen to everyone?

    I'm pretty sure you're getting notifications, but it is often lost among the request for medpacks / ammo. It isn't like starcraft where your minimap basically pings red and text crosses your screen. I try to keep an eye on my minimap at all times, as the "your base is under attack" isn't very noticeable in my opinion.

    As SmellyPants said, I'm sure it alerts you. But the alert is too discreet to notice when you're focusing on a Hive attack.

    I think there may be some issues, sometimes a hive just seems to die and i'm like 'why was I not told?'
