Dear Developer(s),
Short introduction! I've been involved in game design on hobby-levels for seven years, I'm currently running a mod on "Garry's Mod" with two thousand players (give or take). I rather not share links cause that's not why I am here.
To the point!
If there's one thing I know from running communities is that if you give them the hand, they'll chew up your entire arm and still criticize you for not giving them an entire body. You all at Unknown Worlds are doing a fantastic job, and I mean a fantastic job. I understand you have a lot of old players from NS1 that will criticize certain matters for not being the same in NS2, they have all rights to do so of course and I'm sure some of the feedback is highly valuable, but as someone who's only played NS2 I think the game is very solid. It's fun, competitive, dynamic and has heaps of potential for guild conflicts. There are things that can be improved and there are several ideas and additions floating in everyone's head, yes, and that is only a positive thing. What you got here is a game that could potentially grow huge with the right marketing, mouth-to-mouth and community interaction.
There are days when I hang my hand and simply feel tired when working with my own community.
During those times it helps me to know that new players out there are playing with no concerns.
Here is one of them. I love the game, it keeps me more busy than it should and it has enormous potential. Keep it up team, and keep your chin high.
You're all awesome.
Best regards,
Luca.

NS2 is not NS1.
All the talk about Gorge being gimped and overlapping with the roles of the Khammander would be void if there was no NS1, which just proves the point that... NS2 is NOT NS1.
The game is definitely worth its price.
if ns2 doesn't pick up a collection of sub category GOTY awards then it would be a travesty. personally i would give it the best GOTY period, but we all know that goes to big coorperations - i can already hear halo 4 slipping out of the critic's pouting lips.
well said.
The game is solid & Good.
Lots of things COULD be changed. But every person wants it to be a slightly diffrent flavour.
If UWE were to implement all things posted this week. they would have to change em again according to posts next week. It never ends :P
Winning a tough match in Natural Selection 2 is an experience that has no parallel in gaming history... except for NS1. This game is remarkably good, and deserves to be played. Well, more like gamers deserve to experience NS2.
If going to have to disagree with you here. Communities in games are often convoluted and difficult to manage and I personally have had experience from both sides of the fence.
In the case of Ns2 though, there community has given them everything. This by no means takes credit from UWE or the amazing thing that they have crated. Really it speaks wonders on there behalf, there have crated a relationship with there moders:Mapers:casters: and everyone else that company's like Valve never did. In this case, UWE, Continue to extend your hand, and see what gems your thousands of fans have cooked up!
