The blast radius is twice what it should be for the amount of damage it currently outputs. Either reduce the blast radius in half <!--sizeo:1--><span style="font-size:8pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo-->(ideal option)<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->, the damage, or make them only detonate on direct impact. With either option, they should detonate on impact with aliens, it's crazy you can direct an Onos without it exploding. ######, it's clear you, the developers, know the gun requires little aim by the fact you didn't even put a crosshair on it... ahaha.

People just ran about with GL (back then it was even an attachment to the LMG) nading straight down as soon as somebody attacked, killing just about everything without hurting the marine one bit.
And since there's no friendly fire you can just nilly-willy spam this everywhere.

Nope, because if a friendly stands infront of you, the nade will bounce back and it kills you instead.
Then don't aim straight at a person standing right in front of you?
And they cost 25 ressources.
EDIT : However, I do find them a bit too powerful against fade (i.e. you randomly die at a first good shotgunner and grenade exploding combination if you're unlucky).
Remember, they lay AoE fire, but not near themselves. So you have to get around and take them out since they have barely any close-range fighting power. Granted, with a JP, that's mitigated somewhat.
