Cant join a server

I thought there was a tech support forum here but i cant seem to find it so im gonna post here.
I cant join any servers yet i see other people playing and my net connection is fine. what gives? it says authentification error everytime i try to join or unable to make connection to server. But I see everyone else playing. what gives?
