    I believe it's called World Craft. Same editor you use for any HL map.
    Try the mapping forum for more info.

    Can anyone suggest an alternative (if there is one) as wouldcraft (and now hammer editor) always ALWAYS crash on my pc.

    It opens ok, but as soon as I click on the thing, as you would to draw, I get an illegal action box (or illegal error or what ever it is. You know the one.)

    There's always <a href='http://www.planetquake.com/quark/latest' target='_blank'>Quake Army Knife,</a> alias QuArK. Sadly, there's very little in the way of tutorials, but it's not as crashtacular as Worldcraft and has a lot more awesome features. I personally think it's more intuitive, but your mileage may vary.

    Worldcraft/Valve Hammre Editor = Good editor. (Very easy to learn)
    QuArK = God editor. (Very versatile)
