Keeps happening!
Hey guys,
After about 30 minutes of game play the game freezes and then the monitor shuts off and when it comes back on it will go straight to a blue screen of death.
First thing I'm going to do is update my video card drivers but some people say that the latest arent always the best.
I have a GTX 285 and it says the latest are 306.97.
I believe I currently have around the 301 version. Should I upgrade to 306.97? also What else could be the problem?

Run http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/bluescreenview.zip, note the driver file, usually something.sys, google filename, update provided driver or roll back to version.
If something else, report back.

Cool an IRQ issue. Nice hardware. Herp Derp
Update your drivers (Video,Audio, etc...)
IRQ is an interrupt request by hardware...
One of the crashes has "watchdog.sys"
and another couple have "dxgkrnl.sys"
I'll google them a bit later as I have to get reay for work!

dxgkrnl.sys..reload directX
watchdog.sys - this is Windows file, so make sure, the Windows updates are current
someone didn't follow the directions to install the redistributables....

I just had windows do some updates last night. So that may be able to fix the watchdog error? I really should put it on to auto update. Oops.
I am not too sure what you mean about the redistributables...or the correct way to install them. Are they parts of the Windows updates such as the visual C++ (Trying to remeber off the top of my head)
I'll try a reinstall of direct x when I get home.
Is it still worth updating my GTX 285 drivers?

Always worth updating video drivers! check your install of NS2 for a redist folder with the required executables inside.
Will do.
I'll have a look when I get home. Not sure exactly what i'll be searching for (extra files , missing files, outdated files) or what to do with them. but i'll look anyway:)
