Wall climbing invert view

<div class="IPBDescription">Having the option</div>I was wondering if there is a mod or what people think about having an option to invert the skulk wall climbing view, dare i say as an example the aliens from AVP. Strangely having the option would make wall climbing easier and more enjoyable for me.

    They mentioned in the PAX panel that they may introduce an option for this. Previous attempts at even minor view changes resulted in people complaining of motion sickness and being unable to play as a Skulk.

    I'd also like an option to disable viewmodels or mirror them on the left.

    Skulks moves like three or four times faster than the alien in AvP. The maps are also made almost entirely out of flat surfaces. View changes would not suit NS2.

    i know that for alot of people this would be a bad idea however i would like the option to be there, Im sure there are a few people like me out there lol

    I wouldn't mind it as an option, same for mirroring guns on the left. Disabling viewmodels completely is a no-no. It's a part of the game and would give an unfair advantage when used. It would basically force competative players to play without a viewmodel all the time, which takes away waaay to much atmosphere.

    So +1 for this suggestion and mirroring viewmodels.

    I just got NS2. I'm finding it really difficult to run on walls as Skulk.

    Running on ceilings is hard because I keep accidentally falling off. It's impossible to look at the ground where enemies are AND move at the same time. Similar problems exist for wall running. I also need to move the mouse to look at where I'm going on the wall or ceiling, or else I end up accidentally falling off or getting stuck in a protruding obstacle.

    It was a lot easier to wall/ceiling run in NS1 because you held onto a button to stick to the wall. There wasn't any accidental falling off with that. Also it just made a lot more sense to me to invert the view.

    Please add an option for inverting view and an option for holding a key to stick to walls.

    Until then, I think I'll be sticking to Marine.

    Please bump that thread by saying that you would like to have this as an option.
    Let's hope the developers will see it.

    I like the current implementation and find no difficulty moving (lucky me), and I don't think the devs will implement this any time soon.
    But I see many people asking for this so get together and do it yourselves, make a mod and maybe the devs will add it to the game as an option.
