Question about gorge Bile Bomb

I posted this in the new players section a few days ago but it hasn't gotten any firm answers so sorry for the re post but here goes..
I can't seem to tell but say you score a direct hit on a target with Bile Bomb. Will you do 2x the damage if you score another hit right after or does bile bomb affect the target for X number of seconds then only when that time is up does it pay to send another one?
It seems to me that bile bomb will only peak at "x" number of DPS and only will go higher if the first hit wasn't a direct one. Is that the case? If so when does it pay to send a 2nd bile bomb if the first one was a direct hit?

Secondly, bile bomb applies from what I can gather an infinitely stackable Damage-over-time effect.
This should answer your question. If you hit with 2 bombs you will do the damage of 2 bombs, eventually.
Bile Bomb only does 10% of its damage to armor and 20% to exos. So it's not really much and rarely worth it. Note that the damage indicators still show the full damage that was never actually dealt. The same non existent damage problem is persistent with all damage.

Bile bomb stacks so it's better to spam it as much as you can.

indeed bile bomb does stack, i tested in training mode.
also, it's pretty amazing against exos purely because of the range, trajectory and radius... you can kill a lone exo as a gorge without even getting hit - or even an exo with a bunch of mac's - because the macs get pwnt.
it's also decent support against marines because 1-2 bilebombs will reduce their 3/3 armor upgrades down to a 2/3 armor upgrade in moments - and it's far less risky and easier to aim than spit. in fact, it's almost impossible to miss with bile bomb.
bile bomb is the best and only 'siege' weapon in the game.
What does this even mean? Seems like a pretty extreme claim. Can you back it up with some evidence?
Also side question..does bile block marine/exo vision even if it's not a direct hit? I assume spit does since there is no splash damage but was wondering how much of a hit it takes to block vision with BB.
Structures have far more HP than players do, so of course there's a damage penalty. A L3 Exo has 570 armor, and Bile Bomb does 70 per second to structures. If there were no damage penalty the exo would be instagibbed.
i guess he's mistakenly thinking of an older build.
when i bile bomb a marine, the damage is night and day compared to the structural damage... it's something like 1-10 per hit, and only with like 3-4 hits do i start to see 20-30 armor removed. i think he hasn't tested bile bomb recently, or at least since release.
in skie's lerk video he says that lerk bite shows 60 damage but it actually does less and deals DOT. well this can't possibly be true either, because i've been bitten 1 time by a lerk (full hp full armor) and my hp drains down to about 6. since when does '60 damage' drain your hp to 6? also, how is it a 3-hit kill if you're not doing 60 direct damage per hit (marine have 160 effective hp)? that's why i think it was an older build.
When attacking a marine base is it best to hit the ground around multiple structures to splash all of them or is it best to single out one structure?

yeah just aim in the area where you do the most splash damage, unless your team are focusing a priority building obviously.
This is what I thought until I was messing around in single player seeing how long it takes to destroy things with different attacks.... In the end repeated direct hits with bile bomb was faster then any combination of bile and spit...

If you're doing a rambo strike alone, without much hope of actually ending the game then and there, its typically best to focus one structure because its highly unlikely that you will destroy anything using AOE damage alone. I personally go for the advanced armory, as marines rarely build more than one, and its likely to be the longest and most expensive upgrade you can cause them to research again. Especially costly if they don't have a proto lab yet.
On a related note, was the no MAC welding while taking damage thing removed? I was bile bombing a power node earlier today and MACs just swarmed around it and started repairing it, even though they were being hit.
By the way, speaking of "rambo" runs, I'm pretty sure that if you take adrenaline and empty your energy into direct bile bomb hits, you can take a power node down before your energy is exhausted (i.e. pretty quickly).
Go to some marine tech point. Nobody's there > power is out.

They can't weld if they took damage but they can be welded. If you hit them, you'll notice they shake violently.
