Hello everybody, just a quick question: How do you remove mods from the mod list in game?

I did unsubscribe from the mod in the steam workshop, yet it still is shown in my mod list in game. If it's intended to show mods that you have not implemented or subscribed, alright; there is server specific mods after all. But shouldn't those still show the name? Either way, something seems wrong. What am I missing here?

You basically have to clean up your Natural Selection 2 folder in your APPDATA folder, which looks like this:

    %APPDATA%/Natural Selection 2/Workshop/

There will be A LOT of folders in your case with strange numberings and you would have to go through them and figure out which mod is what, which is usually stated in the containing .modinfo file, which you can open with Notepad.

Then you can remove those folders, which you don't need anymore.

Yea, a bit of a complicated way to entirely remove unneeded/unwanted mods from the Workshop.

    Ah thanks for the info.

Just for further readers, the full path is %APPDATA%/Roaming/Natural Selection 2/Workshop

As mentioned above, open the ".modinfo" with a text editor of choice and see what it actually is.

Ah, sorry for this. It depends on your Operating System.

If I type %APPDATA% in, I directly get into the Roaming folder. I run Windows 7 x64.
