For some reason, my server browser does not populate. I have found a couple solutions that haven't seemed to work for me. I also read that Unknown Worlds knew of the issue and was working on a patch. The posts that I saw that said this were from about 3-5 days ago.
Is anyone else still having this issue or know of a resolution? I'd like to play this wonderful game again.

If all else fails, restart NS2 and first time in, the browser should populate
My experiences so far:
1. There's no notification that mods might be downloading .. if you have any subscribed, then they might put your servers over your ping threshold.. therefore making it look empty
2. Sometimes it takes ages for the browser to kick in .. you're staring at a blank screen then after a minute it fills up
3. Sometimes only a couple of servers appear (unlimited ping selected)
4. Sometimes servers appear multiple times
5. After you get a 'failed to connect to server' .. the server browser refuses to repopulate and you need to restart
6. There's NO NOTIFICATION if you're offline! I've a crappy net connection .. and I can click refresh until the cows come home.. all the time in the background my connection could have dropped
7. It 'seems' if you refresh, it still refreshes all servers, not just the ones you've filtered.. I understand some filters need the servers to be checked .. but the main one, my favourites, doesn't
What I'd love to see (after the above are fixed :P ):
8. er basically all the functionality of the steam browser
9. Seperate tab for favourites
10. Seperate tab for servers friends are playing in
11. List of who's on the server, scores, etc on a 'view details' for a server or auto-populate when the server is selected
12. Auto-join with a bit more info (when its attempting, server info)
13. List server history
I sincerely wish the server browser was more polished :(

As noted above, this issue should be getting worked out soon.
However, since, no doubt,you want to play now. There is a work around <a href="http://unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=123251" target="_blank">posted in the tech support forum</a> that you may want to check out.

There are currently around 2700 playing, but I also have this issue and just give up trying to play because of it.

UWE need to sort this out and I am surprised it was not in this patch, I wonder how many people are not playing because of this.
It is probably the most frustrating bug I have come across during the whole engine test/alpha/beta because I can't actually play the game.
I can make it on to servers, but it means closing steam, reopening and praying to the update gods that the list will refresh. If not, rinse and repeat until it does.
Even then it might tell me I can't connect to the server, and the list just stops refreshing after that or if I disconnect from the server.
Considering stuff was done to the server browser recently, is that not the issue?
